Thank you Jackie for the fabulous and fun trip to the Alhambra. from the moment we met Jackie at the Almeria Port, we knew we were in for a great day. Jackie, provided our group of six with a private Van, driver, and licensed guide for the Alhambra visit. We were then treated to a lovely paella lunch, plenty of wine, and lots of local history and stories. We finished off our visit with a stop at a local wine and ham shop, and another glass of delicious Cava. Would love to return someday for the Easter festival. Thanks Jackie!

Olive oil visit was an eye-opener, with a stopover at the cliff. An excellent lunch at Padules. Enjoyed the last red. Charlie and Jackie were great to explain in English and Spanish!!! U need someone bilingual? They are the ones for our family who speak only English or Spanish!!!

Dear Jackie and Charlie,

"What a memorable evening! We so enjoyed all aspects of the Lorca Trip,
from the good meal to the amazing Semana Santa parade, with such
perfect front row seats. We have been looking at our photos and videos
today and re-living the experience.

Thank you so much for such an excellent, well-organised trip. We look
forward to doing more tours with you."

We feel so fortunate to have come across this website. We were going to be in Garrucha during Easter and simply Googled things to do in Vera/Garrucha during Easter and found Jackie’s website promoting the Lorca Easter procession. We were not familiar with the event but once we saw a few videos on YouTube we knew we had to attend. Jackie was extremely helpful in answering all our booking questions and being very flexible. We’re from the US and don’t speak Spanish so it was helpful that the communications was in English. They also provided helpful e-mails in preparation (i.e., dress warm, bring a cushion, etc.) They picked us up at our condo which was perfect since we did not have a car during our time in Garrucha. The tickets to the Lorca event were exceptional — front row. Everything about the event was amazing. Jackie and Charlie were excellent hosts. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and had they not promoted their website and the event, we would have missed seeing something so spectacular.

Wow! What a fabulous day we had scrambling up hills (which became mountains) between the fabulous beaches of Los Genoveses and Monsul on the Cabo de Gata. We don’t even wish we had taken the approved, flat route between the beaches - we had so much fun. We were rewarded with a swim in the beautiful waters of Monsul beach, then on to La Isleta for a romantic meal on the harbourside, watching the sun set over the bay. The whole day was the highlight of our holiday in Almeria, and we can’t wait to go back and ramble around the Sierra Cabrera! Thanks to Jackie, Charlie and Javi, and see you next year.

Just a note to say thank you, to Jackie & Charlie, for looking after us. For the lovely meal, and great seats for the fantastic Semana Santa Parade at Lorca. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Costa Almeria Tours to any of our family/friends.

All were great experiences the dancing at & costumes at Aguilas & costumes & chariot racing at Lorca are all amazing sights to see. We look forward to joining a different trip next year. Jackie & Charlie are also great hosts & look after everyone brilliantly.

The Stargazing Evening. Pick up: it was great, and most convenient to be collected and dropped off by Charlie - this creates a relaxed atmosphere from the outset where one simply has no concerns other than soaking up the experience. Venue: Jackie and Charlie’s home. A place where ones dreams can soar. Less romantically: high up, stunning view, rustic but not falling apart, sociable setting. Food and drink plentiful, short on ice. Warmth and care bountiful! The Stargazing: wonderful star-host Javier: knowledgeable, loves what he does, not patronizing, truly believes that being aware of the bigger picture can enhance one’s perception of almost anything. I think he’s right, see what you think. Price: well worth it, a taxi up there alone would have been 50Euros return. Sincerely, Sarah.

"Just a quick note to say how much we all enjoyed the Lorca Semana Santa trip last Friday, it really is a once in a lifetime type of event which we would recommend to anybody. The trip was extremely well organised by you with nothing we could fault whatsoever, and again we have recommended yourself to others via the HPB logbook which is in the property. Maybe next time we visit we will do the Aquilas carnevel trip you do."
